fINE ART ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHY

Yahya Jan, President of NORR Engineering and the lead architect on Ciel, commissioned Ahmad Alnaji to handle the photography for Ciel Dubai Marina, the tallest hotel in the world. He wanted the perspective Ahmad brings, fine art in architectural photography without deceiving anyone about the features or the truth of the design. That is a hard blend, and SARAB is proud to be one of the studios leading it. We started by hearing from the architect about his tower, then reflected his vision through storytelling across a series of exteriors, interiors, and close-up shots.

Ciel stands 377 metres over 82 storeys in Dubai Marina. Dezeenpublished the first photographs of the finished tower and gave the photography as much attention as the architecture. Good images travel, and this is what SARAB is built to do for a project: take it to global media.
